What awaits Russian trade missions?
The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov spoke about the policy of actions in the current conditions of sanctions, protection of the domestic market and Russian manufacturers, support for manufacturers engaged in non-commodity exports.
"We have implemented a large-scale import substitution program. Now we are focused on ensuring that high-quality competitive export-oriented products are supplied to foreign markets. Therefore, we need to change the format of our sales offices so that they are focused on results, so that KPIs are oriented to sell products in those volumes, in those benchmarks that we will set.

Denis Manturov also spoke about plans to build pulp and paper mills in the central part of Russia, the Siberian Federal District and the Far East. The project is planned to be implemented in the next 5 years.
Recalling the negative experience of the Baikal Pulp and Paper Mill, Manturov explained that outdated technologies were used on it production regularly required fresh water. Modern CBCS use a closed cycle.
