Christopher Bailey resigns as President of Burberry
On March 31, 2018, after 17 years of work at Burberry, Christopher Bailey will leave the post of president of the company, reportsbusinessoffashion.com .
Bailey's successor is Marco Gobetti former CEO of Céline. He stressed that the brand has gone through an amazing transformation since 2001, and Christopher has led the company to a huge success.
In his official address Christopher Bailey stated: "It has been a great honor to work at Burberry for 17 years, learning from the experience of such an amazing team. I really believe that the best days of Burberry are ahead."
Bailey announced his decision on July 4. His last job in the company will be the creation of a collection of the spring-summer 2018 season.
