On August 16, an announcing press conference dedicated to was held Chapeau Fashion Week 2018, which will be held from September 4 to 7 in Pavilion 3 of the Expocentre on Krasnaya Presnya. The Chapeau exhibition will be held for the 16th time this year.

During the press conference, the planned program of events was announced.

 

The opening of the week will take place on September 4, at 13 o'clock. During the opening ceremony, the owner of Chapeau Grand Prix 2017 Marta Ananyan will hand over the Crown of the Empire of Hats to the organizing committee of the exhibition and will show a new collection of crowns and dryads called "Coronaval Return". Then there will be a show of the collection "National treasure" of the master of Russian fashion Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Zaitsev. The Grand Prix of the Leather and Fur Industry will also return to the organizing committee.The golden fleece. The Grand Prix is made of gold with platinum, its cost is more than 1 million rubles. It already has the first petal of the Panafics Furs company from the city of Pyatigorsk, which won this award in 2017. The return of the Golden Fleece will be presented with its models and will also be handed over to the organizing committee of the exhibition Irina Krutikova, the Queen of Fur of Russia. The culmination of the opening ceremony will be the awarding of Russia's leading fashion designers with the highest Order of the fashion industry For dedication to the profession. In addition, on the first day of the exhibition, a charity auction will be held " Artistic masterpieces of V.M. Zaitsev".Graphic and pictorial works will be presented. The second day of the exhibition will be opened by a fashion show of the company "Zimos", followed by a fashion show of the designer of hats from St. Petersburg, a member of the jury Marina Sedova. After that, traditional competitive screenings will take place:

The third day will be unusual.According to the organizers, the exhibition will host The Moscow Wool Felting Championship, the manufacture of "Miracle hats" and The Championship of Moscow for the manufacture of hats from felt caps «A masterpiece in half an hour». They will be organized by Olga Antrope, director of the studio "Casket" (the first championship), and Olga Makhova, CEO of the company "Ladies' Chic" (the second championship). According to Olga Makhova, the task of these contests is to identify new names among those who create, not daring to show themselves to the general public.

 

Also this year there will be new competitive shows in the categories Fashion-Epatage (scandalous fashion) and «People's International» (for needlework masters). 

 

 

A business program will be held on September 6, in particular a discussion panel "The market of hats and accessories in Russia. Problems and solutions, round tableIssues of product labeling. Fur, shoes, clothing… hats and accessories?» and round table «Interaction of media and PR services of manufacturers of hats, retailers and authors-designers».

 

 

More than 150 companies of manufacturers of hats, fur products, accessories are taking part in the exhibition this season. An appropriate podium will be built for the shows, and an exhibition of eared mascots, which were presented to Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Zaitsev in different cities, will be organized at the entrance inside Pavilion 3. Those who wish to replenish the collection and present Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Zaitsev with new hares from a variety of materials can do this on any day of the exhibition.
