BEE-FASHION FORUM successfully debuted in Moscow

NOVEMBER 11, 2024 ended BEE- FASHION FORUM is the largest event in the fashion industry

BEE- FASHION FORUM was attended by more than 500 guests, including the heads of the largest online and offline retail companies, large-scale productions, logistics companies, sellers of marketplaces in the fashion segment, specialists in the fashion and light industry, representatives of the executive authorities of Moscow, the Moscow region, the CIS countries and the EAEU, manufacturers of clothing and fabrics, distributors, franchisees, investors, designers and others. The online broadcast from the event was watched by more 200 spectators.

The speakers were representatives of top Russian companies and clothing brands: Igor Chapurin, headliner of the forum, fashion designer, founder of the CHAPURIN fashion house; Anastasia Sycheva, Product Director (Chief Product Officer, CPO) of the Wildberries sellers portal; Alexandra Denisova, Commercial Director of the Children's Clothing and Footwear direction, Ozon; Anna Novikova, Head of the Directorate for the Development and Promotion of Foreign Economic Activity Products, Alfa-Bank JSC, founder of the companyFactory 101”Ilya Ivanov and others.

In the conference hall of the forum, the leading players of the fashion market discussed current topics: how to create and promote your own brands and how the latest technologies help sellers increase turnover on marketplaces, how to effectively organize business processes of contract production, how to profitably invest in the fashion segment, what features to take into account when working with China and UAE.

Two sessions of the forum were devoted to the topic of marketplaces: at the first, the participants discussed tools to increase sales and other subtleties of sellers' work, and the experts of the second session talked about the opportunities offered by neural networks to sellers of online platforms.

The speakers told how to create a trademark, register it and display it on marketplaces - at the same time, it is important to understand that there are categories that are already oversaturated with supply, in which it is difficult and expensive to promote. Experts consider, for example, children's and sportswear to be promising categories. Pricing became an acute topic - as a result of the discussion, the speakers came to the conclusion that clothing sellers can afford to enter the marketplace with a higher price and not be afraid to compete.

Against the background of the departure of Western players and the development of Russian companies, there have been changes in the field of contract production – if earlier it was a problem for local factories to fill their capacities, now, during a period of increased demand for local production, brands have difficulties finding a contractor for their order. For this reason, companies need information and assistance in selecting outsourcing partners abroad. This and other difficulties of contract manufacturing were discussed by the participants of the session, moderated by Svetlana Romanova, an international expert in the field of promotion and export and localization of light industry goods, Vice President The International Association of Ecomodation Industry Participants (IAEF).

"The fact that this forum is taking place, which touches on very important issues of the industry and attracts a large number of experts from all over the country, is very valuable, - Svetlana Romanova believes. - You you can chat, listen, gather contacts, because our contacts and our connections are our success, and nothing can replace personal communication. There are very interesting formats here, and by the number of visitors and the level of speakers, we can see that this forum is the first, but it is already successful."

The topics of working with the markets of China and Dubai, as well as investments in the field of fashion.

The moderator of the center for contacts and presentations of the forum was Mikhail Gruber, a top manager, business consultant and mentor to entrepreneurs, ex-CEO of Trussardi in Russia and the CIS. Representatives of 9 participating companies told why they should enter marketplaces right now, what is AI fitting, how personalization of online shopping increases key business indicators, how to increase turnover using marketing automation services, presented unique Russian fashion and beauty brands and sewing production opportunities.

In two halls of the forum, visitors took part in Fashion Business Games, where they pumped their professional skills, shared their experience and found new non-standard tools for business development. Among the most visited topics of business games were "Wish Card: the Fabulous method", "Reality Management" and "Triggers. WOW! It's interesting." Also, at the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio forum , interviews with experts and speakers were conducted to record a podcast, and in the event zone, Primus Inter companies Pares could enjoy warm tea from the samovar and Russian gingerbread.
