A Customs Policy Committee is being created in SOYUZLEGPROm

Since January 1, 2018, a new has come into forceCustoms Code of the Eurasian Economic Union. It contains new approaches to informatization of customs operations, introduces a more business-friendly algorithm for interaction with government agencies. In particular, in the new code, the declaration of goods will be carried out only in electronic form.

 

 

Realizing the exceptional importance of the new document for industry participants, SOYUZLEGPROM organized a new working body within its structure.The Customs Policy Committee, which should assist companies working in the light industry in solving customs administration issues and optimizing foreign economic activity in the new economic conditions.

"Reforming the customs administration system is a priority task today. SOYUZLEGPROM, as a leading industry association, is involved in this process within the framework of an agreement with the Federal Customs Service of Russia. It is no secret that almost all participants in foreign economic activity in their work face the costs associated with carrying out control measures of customs authorities.

SOYUZLEGPROM has submitted its proposals to the Federal Customs Service and is ready to actively involve industry companies involved in foreign economic activity in this work on an ongoing basis. One of the most significant events for the industry will be the First Logistics Conference «LOGISTICS OF THE FASHION AND LIGHT INDUSTRY»FASHIONLOG-2018». The event is held on March 22, 2018 at the site of the Russian Textile and Light Industry Week 2018 with the support of SOYUZLEGPROm,LLC Consulting Agency"Just Logistics" (member of the Union) and "REC. The conference will also include the first meeting of the members of the Customs Policy Committee of SOYUZLEGPROm.
