ZENDEN received the first digital code

One of the largest Russian shoe retail chains, the ZENDEN Group, has received the first digital code, which will be applied to a shoe box and sent to the shelves of Moscow stores.

With the help of the Data Matrix code and the Unified National System of Marking and Traceability of Goods Honest MARK, it will be possible to trace the entire path of a shoe pair from the conveyor to the online cash register, which takes it out of circulation. The system records the transfer of goods from owner to owner at each stage of the logistics chain, which makes it impossible to throw a fake.

Comments Alexander Milykh, Communications Director of the ZENDEN Group: "We have made a very important step in the labeling business by installing a special emission recorder and a task management station on the territory of our headquarters in Moscow. Our team has successfully printed the first code for its further application to finished products. The event is certainly significant both for us and for the market.

Registrars of code emission are provided by the operator of the marking system, the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies, to business for free.

CommentsRevaz Yusupov, Deputy General Director of CRPT for Public Relations and Marketing: "From the first days of the experiment, the ZENDEN Group took an active position in the workflow, understanding the importance of working out all the mechanics in pilot mode for a convenient and loyal transition to labeling in the future.

Labeling of footwear products will make the accounting of goods as transparent as possible, will provide uniform rules of work for all market participants, and, consequently, will create uniform competitive conditions for them. In addition, the transition to labeling will contribute to the emergence of a public control tool, when a buyer at any point of sale will be able to verify the legal origin of products and see the entire path of the goods to the store on the smartphone screen.
