WorldSkills Russia on CPM
On February 25–28, as part of the 32nd exhibition CPM–Collection Premiere Moscow, an open training session of the expanded national team of WorldSkills Russia on the competence of "Fashion technologies", as well as the new competence WorldSkills from the block "professions of the future" (FutureSkills) "Digital fashion designer". The implementation of this initiative will strengthen the cooperation of the popular international specialized project and the organizer of the event, Messe Dusseldorf Moscow LLC, which successfully launched in September 2018.

«The competence of «Digital fashion designer» – is the creation of clothes in a virtual environment. Thanks to the use of a 3D scanner, virtual fitting technology and demonstration of all the properties of the future garment with the help of an avatar, time, resources and production costs for the production of a reference sample are significantly reduced.

The participants of the training will have to complete a competitive task - a single project that includes modules on sketching, designing, modeling, mock-up and making clothes. At the same time, the ability to organize work, compliance with the rules of safe work, environmental protection and ethical standards are taken into account.
The expanded composition of the national assembly in terms of competence "Fashion technologies" includes seven people: silver medalists of the championship EuroSkills-2018 Evelina Altunyan (Kazan), Olesya Budko (Khabarovsk), Ekaterina Golubeva (Ivanovo), Anastasia Kolesnikova (Korolev), Angela Kalanova (Gorno-Altaysk), Elizaveta Petrishcheva (Orenburg) and Elina Trofimova (Novosibirsk).
National team WorldSkills Russia This is a team of contestants representing Russia at international professional competitions. Among them are the World and European Championships, which are held every two years in one of the countries participating in the international movement WorldSkills International. The nearest championship with the participation of the Russian national team is the World Championship WorldSkills Kazan-2019.
