On March 6, an exhibition of Moscow designers and artists, organized jointly with the Museum and Exhibition Center «Museum of Fashion», will open in the Bread House of the Museum-Reserve «.

The works of modern designers, jewelers, artists, photographers and fashion illustrators will be presented on one platform. In the thematic halls of the exhibition, named "Archaic", "Byzantium", "Middle Ages", "Baroque", "Russian style", "Beautiful Epoch" and "Avant-garde"visitors of the exhibition will be able to trace how different stages of the development of fashion and art in general are reflected in the works of modern designers.

The legendary Russian couturier is the artistic director of the project Vyacheslav Zaitsev, who will present several of his models for the exhibition. Among the participants of the project are designers Lilia Gureeva, Galina Drozd, Vasilisa Baklashova, Andrey Kanunov, artists Stella Labuzhskaya, Alyona Lavdovskaya, Natalia Bereg, Svetlana Boyarkina and many others.

The theme of fashion and style has long become traditional for exhibitions in "Tsaritsyno". The Museum-Reserve has its own unique collection of sketches created in the 1920s Lyubov Popova and Varvara Stepanova, who for the first time combined constructivism as a direction in art and mass production of fabrics and clothing. Both exhibitions devoted to the history of costume ("Fashion behind the Iron Curtain") and expositions with the participation of modern fashion designers enjoyed great success. The exhibition «Symbols of fashion. The Energy of the Epoch"will work in the Bread House of the Museum-Reserve "Tsaritsyno" from March 6 to April 10, 2018. The official opening will take place on March 5. The opening ceremony will be attended by Vyacheslav Zaitsev and director of the Fashion MuseumOksana Fedorova.
