As it became known, very soon, at the award ceremony of the British Fashion Awards 2018 of the year, Miuccia Prada will be awarded "Outstanding Achievements".



The most prestigious award is presented by the British Fashion Council. The award in this category identifies those couturiers who have made a huge creative contribution to the development of the fashion industry. The owners of this status in different years have become Donatella Versace, Karl Lagerfeld and Ralph Lauren.



Prada, the creator of the most beloved by young fashionistas brand, is also loved by other designers. It is she who shows in her collections those things that will become trends both on the catwalks and on the street, and only then are picked up by her colleagues in the shop.



For many years remaining a kind of fashion Columbus – discovering a new or well-forgotten old, – this Italian designer is still ahead of many Fashion Houses in terms of creativity and deserves this award like no other.

The presentation of the Fashion Awards of the British Fashion Council will take place on December 10 in London.
