To Turkey with your samovar
Delegation of the Ivanovo region headed by the governor of the region Stanislav Voskresensky paid a business visit to Turkey. The visit was organized in order to develop and expand bilateral cooperation Ivanovo Region and the Republic of Turkey in the textile industry, attracting investors, establishing interregional cooperation.
The official delegation included: Deputy Chairman of the government Lyudmila Dmitrieva, representatives of the economic block of the government of the Ivanovo region and development institutes, heads of the largest textile enterprises and higher educational institutions of the region.
During the working trip, a number of enterprises, an industrial park, negotiations with investors took place. The delegation visited the companies Migiboy Tekstil and Toraman Textile Company, specializing in the production of yarn and fabric, and held talks with the management of these enterprises, visited the Cherkezkey Industrial Park, for which the textile industry is a priority.
During the visit, the investment potential of the Ivanovo region was presented. At a meeting with the management of the company ISKUR GROUP, which produces yarn, all types of knitted, woven fabrics and denim, the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the textile industry were discussed.
Lyudmila Badak, Director of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Ivanovo Region, comments : "The main task of the working trip is to attract investments to the Ivanovo region. Moreover, we are not talking about direct competition between Turkish companies and our textile enterprises, but about attracting investors to other sub-sectors of light industry and the development of these sub-sectors in the Ivanovo region.
