The eighth season of St. Petersburg Design Week will be held at the Design Center Artplay SPb from May 30 to June 6.

Design Week will present to participants and visitors all the most interesting and relevant in the field of interior, decor and architecture. The business program will last 7 days and will consist of more than 100 lectures, discussions, presentations and art projects. More than 20 special guests will attend this season's Design Week.

The parallel program, which will include closed business sessions, presentations, parties and open events, will also capture other venues of the city: showrooms, restaurants, art spaces and galleries.

The main section Design Your Space will present interior, subject and environmental design. For the first time, a competition for the best stand design will be held among the exhibitors.

The business program Design Your Mind includes performances by stars of Russian and international design, round tables, master classes and workshops on the most popular topics. The events are aimed at both specialists (closed lectures and master classes) and a wide audience (open lecture program). The business program will be held non-stop for four days from May 30 to June 2 at two lecture venues. Key topics: «The phenomenon of Dutch design», «Classics of Italian design»,«Development of design in Russia».

For the first time, a special program for new residents will be formed at the exhibition, which will include consultations of designers and manufacturers of interior goods.

The third season of the project "Northern Lights of Design" will bring together the best of the best Russian professionals on one site for two days, June 1 and 2. The project provides its platform exclusively to cult speakers who have made a significant personal contribution to the architectural environment, interior and object design in Russia - architects, designers, bloggers and design critics.

As part of the Design Week program, as always, a new season of the international independent award for architects, designers and decorators ADD Awards 2018 will be launched.

Special guests of the season – stars of world design and architecture: Carlo Colombo, Paolo Colombo (Studio A++), Simone Micheli and Roberta Colla (Simone Micheli Architectural Hero), Stefan Waldenmayer (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Leicht Küchen), Helen van Gent (Creative Director of the AkzoNobel International Center for Aesthetics) and many others.
