Tekstillegprom and Textiles India: exchange of exhibitors

April 27, President of PJSC Roslegprom Alexander Kruglik met with the Deputy Minister of Textile Industry of the Government of India Madhu Kumar Reddy, Director of the Confederation of Indian Industry Amit Mehta and other members of the delegation from India, the Roslegprom website reports.

 

Russian enterprises belonging to Roslegprom and Indian entrepreneurs are linked by long-standing partnerships. Bilateral meetings have been held for 25 years and have become a good tradition.

 

The visit of the guests took place in the 70th anniversary year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries and was timed to coincide with a number of upcoming business events.

 

The participants of the meeting paid special attention to the issues of interaction within the framework of industry exhibition events. During the conversation, the Indian partners confirmed the presence of their companies in the "Indian Pavilion" at the 49th Federal Wholesale Fair "Textile Industry" and the 26th International Wholesale Fair "Leather-Shoes-Fur-Technology"raquo; from August 29 to September 1.

 

  

The guests said that about 100 Indian companies that are interested in expanding contacts with Russian manufacturing and trading companies will take part in the multidisciplinary exhibition.

 

The parties emphasized their desire to increase trade turnover. Currently, Russia accounts for 3.3% of Indian textile exports, while similar Russian exports account for only 0.3%.

 

In this regard, the meeting discussed the possibility of attracting Russian enterprises to participate in the international exhibition Textiles India, which will be held from June 30 to July 2 in Gandhinagar (Gujarat) under the patronage of the Ministry of Textiles of India.
