The 49th Federal Wholesale Fair «Tekstillegprom» and the 26th International Wholesale Fair «Leather-Shoes-Fur-Technology» will be held at VDNH from August 29 to September 1.

More than 2,000 companies from 30 countries of the world, primarily from Russia, as well as from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, will demonstrate their products within the framework of the exhibition project.

The exposition will occupy 42,000 square meters in Pavilions No. 69 and No. 75 of VDNH. Ten international salons, essentially independent exhibitions, with clearly defined directions, will be presented to the attention of a professional audience. This will allow visitors to concentrate on the optimal segment for themselves.

At the stands of the participants, buyers, retailers and production specialists will find the widest range of products, including: women's and men's clothing, children's clothing, hats, knitwear, underwear, home textiles, fabrics, shoes, leather, furs, leather goods, accessories, accessories, materials, components, raw materials, equipment, technologies for sewing, leather and textile sub-sectors.

Traditionally, two-thirds of the exhibitors of the fairs will be domestic companies. The exhibition «Tekstillegprom» is included in the Program for the Development of domestic light industry at the federal and regional levels «Russian Fashion» as a key participant and has a high business reputation in the professional environment, confirmed by the Signs of the Russian Union exhibitions and fairs and the World Exhibition Industry (UFI).

Foreign partners who seek to expand contacts with Russian manufacturing and trading companies are also showing great interest in the exhibition.

Within the framework of national expositions, manufacturers from India, China and Uzbekistan will demonstrate their products. It should be noted that the Republic of India has become a partner country of the upcoming exhibition and will present its own pavilion with the participation of over 100 companies.The multidisciplinary Indian exposition was formed with the support of the Council for the Promotion of the Export of Synthetic and Viscose Textile Fabrics (SRTEPC) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

During the four exhibition days, industry market specialists will be able not only to get acquainted with the latest collections of leading manufacturers, new technologies and advanced equipment, but also with the main trends and trends of the fashion industry, as well as exchange experience and discuss current industry issues.

The highlights of the business program of the exhibition will be the XI competition for the «Fashion of Russia» and the 39th International Competition of Young Fashion Designers «Exercise».

Leading experts in the field of forecasting fashion trends, wholesale and retail sales, textile design and high computer technologies will conduct author's workshops and seminars, among which: "How to reduce inventory balances and increase wholesale sales using logistics", "Retail sales. Visual merchandising – how to offer and sell goods in the context of changing consumer behavior», «Commercial trends in the trends of men's and children's fashion season autumn–winter 2018/19» and others. Also, as part of the business program, a presentation of the online platform "Fashion magazin" will be held.

A meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Russian Union of Clothing Manufacturers is scheduled on the provision of raw materials for sewing and knitting enterprises. Special attention of the meeting participants-heads of leading companies will be paid to establishing partnerships with suppliers and increasing the export potential of enterprises.

According to preliminary estimates, the organizers expect about 30,000 targeted visitors. On the site www.legpromexpo.ru more than 15,000 specialists have already registered.

The 50th anniversary season of the fairs «Tekstillegprom» and «Leather-Shoes-Fur-Technology» will be held in Moscow at VDNKH on March 13–16, 2018.
