Techtextil Russia moves to an annual schedule
International Exhibition of Technical Textiles and Nonwovens Techtextil Russia will be held on February 20-22 at the Expocentre Fairgrounds for the ninth time.
Technical textiles and equipment for their production are recognized as the main factor in the development of the Russian textile and light industry, this sub-sector is actively stimulated and supported by government agencies at the regional and federal levels. Market players, realizing the importance of this industry, are increasing production capacity, actively engaged in the transfer of foreign technologies in this area, as well as localization of production.
Responding to the demands of the market of technical fabrics and fiber-based materials, Messe Frankfurt is transferring Techtextil Russia to an annual schedule.
In 2016, 120 companies from 15 countries took part in the Techtextil exhibition, including Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Egypt, India, Italy, China, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Tunisia, France, Switzerland and Russia. The exposition of Indian manufacturers of technical textiles and nonwovens enjoyed increased attention. For the first time, a company that is the leader of the Indian textile and light industry market, Aditya Birla Group, took part in the exhibition.
The exposition of domestic companies of the market of technical textiles and nonwovens was represented by such undisputed leaders as Gazprom Khimvolovo, Mashteximpex, the Factory of nonwovens "The whole world", the company "Igla", TD "Janta", Ivanovoiskozh and a number of others.
