Anti-counterfeiting strategy

At a meeting of the Government of the Russian Federation, which took place on April 5, 2018, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev informed the audience about the signing of a Plan for the implementation of a Strategy to combat illicit trafficking in industrial products.

Honest companies also suffer from fakes. It is necessary to improve the legislative framework, develop mechanisms that will prevent the illegal trafficking of such industrial goods, coordinate the work of authorities, as well as establish a system of state monitoring.

 

 

In fact, work on the implementation of this Plan is already underway. 

 

"Together with colleagues from other departments, within the framework of the activities of the profile State Commission for Combating Illicit trafficking in Industrial Products, we are already actively working on the implementation of the Plan in terms of introducing legislative initiatives"

Also Denis Manturov ogtmetio,   that the Government has already approved three bills on optimizing the procedure for the destruction of light industry goods seized in criminal cases and cases of administrative offenses. Now the costs of their storage, transportation and destruction will be borne directly by the violator. Within the framework of the plan, work will continue on the creation of labeling systems, traceability of goods from the manufacturer to the counter, fuel quality control, destruction of equipment for the production of unsafe products, and the introduction of modern product certification mechanisms.
