MODI network debuted in St. Petersburg

The first store of the retail chain MODI opened in St. Petersburg: it appeared on the first floor of the Okhta Mall. JLL acted as a consultant for the lease of premises with an area of just over 370 square meters.

The store of the MODI chain in "Okhta Mall" presents unusual and funny things. The format of the network is based on the principle of emotional shopping: «unique, necessary and funny» so briefly you can describe the range of MODI, which includes fashion accessories, cosmetics, electronics, stationery, holiday goods, home, animals, travel and sports, and also toys and fun food. There are no analogues of MODI on the Russian market yet.

The MODI network is being developed by Igor Sosin, who is known as the founder and ex-owner of the home goods chain "Old Man Hottabych", ex-co-owner of hypermarkets OBI and the owner of fashion stores Modis. As part of his new project MODI , the businessman plans to create Russia's largest chain of stores of useful and unusual goods with an original design and a positive mood.

Yulia Chernysheva, head of the direction of rental of shopping centers of the company JLL in St. Petersburg: "Brand MODI a new player in the Russian retail market, which is actively developing and considering expansion into key cities of the country. After the opening of the first stores in Moscow, going to St. Petersburg became a logical step, as well as choosing the Okhta Mall the newest and most modern facility in the city. Stores such as MODI bring diversity to the tenants of the center, making it interesting and attractive to buyers. «Okhta Mall» continues to serve as one of the key shopping malls of the city that new brands choose to enter the market. The current high occupancy rate exceeding 85% indicates the success of the SRV Group facility.
