Seven dimensions of EuroShop

Over the 50 years of its existence, EuroShop has become the leading international exhibition of goods and services for retail trade, during which time it has managed to turn into a real standard of exhibition design.

The first exhibition, held in 1966, was attended by 331 companies, including 55 exhibitors from abroad. And the presented assortment was devoted primarily to such topics as store development and window dressing. However, then the exposition was constantly expanding due to the appearance of new sections, following the needs of international retail trade. The previous season of EuroShop demonstrated record figures. According to exhibition statistics, 2,229 exhibitors from 56 countries, including 25 companies from Russia, took part in the event.

Simultaneously with the expansion of the exhibition range, the exhibition area also grew, which in 2014 reached 117,000 m2. The event was then attended by 110 thousand specialists from more than a hundred countries. However, the EuroShop‑2017 exhibition plans to become even more ambitious!

In 2017, the usual structure with four exhibition sections will be replaced by a radically new "Concept of seven dimensions": "Equipment & store design", "Visual merchandising", "Lighting", "POP marketing», «Management of food technologies & energy efficiency», «Retail technologies», «Exhibition & event marketing ».

The organizers of the event have developed a special program of forums, which are traditionally attended by recognized industry experts. They will make presentations on current topics during all five days of the exhibition. The forums for specialists also deserve special mention: "EuroShop Forum", "Architecture & Design", "ECO Forum", "EuroCIS Forum", "POPAI Forum", and "laquo;OmniChannel Forum» and «ECOpark Forum». The presentations will be accompanied by simultaneous translation (German/English), and any visitor to the exhibition can take part in the business program, completely free of charge and without prior registration.

This exhibition season, the prestigious EuroShop Retail Design Awards for the world's best store design concept is scheduled to be presented again.
