On March 20–23, 2018, the «Expocenter» on Krasnaya Presnya traditionally hosted the IV International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials «INTERTKAN-2018. Spring", which has been held for the third year in the framework of the project "strong>"Russian Textile and Light Industry Week-2018" in a regular semi-annual cycle.

Compared to the autumn exhibition, «Intertkan-2018. Spring» has grown significantly:

• The exhibition area increased by 41% (5,200 sq. m.).
• The number of exhibitors increased by 65% (about 200 companies).
• The number of visitors increased by 9.5% (7 900 people).
• The number of participants increased by 5 countries (18 countries).

The number of Russian companies – exhibitors has also increased. Russia -59%, Italy -14%, Turkey -12%, France-3%, Belarus2%, Spain2%, Germany1%, China; 1% and other countries  6%. Of these, manufacturers accounted for more than 62%, suppliers made up 38%.

The exposition of the exhibition «Intertkan-2018. Spring" was presented by leading Russian companies: "Mirtex", "Trekhgornaya manufactory", "Shuisky chintz", «Tchaikovsky textiles», «Verona», «Nipromtex» and others.

Among the international participants there were companies from Italy, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Spain, Norway, Portugal, Latvia, Lithuania, India, Turkey: LOXY, CHT, Sophie Hallette, Benett Silks and others.

As part of the exhibition «Intertkan-2018. Spring traditionally hosted the Textile Expert Forum, a design space organized for exhibition visitors by leading domestic and foreign designers, the main purpose of which is to inform exhibition visitors about current trends and trends in the style and design of the upcoming season.

The result of the forum was the Award "Intertank", formed by the choice of a professional jury, which noted the four best samples. The jury took into account the quality of the fabric, originality in terms of decoration, decoration, finishing, innovations in technology, as well as fabrics with unusual qualities and the ability of the fabric to convey and evoke emotions. The winners were: «DALI» (Russia), «Nika Textile Edge» (Russia), GRATACOS (Spain), &"Thermopol" (Russia).

A rich business program was conducted within the framework of the exhibition: the plenary session "Domestic Light Industry-2018. Reboot,selection show of young designers of the competition ●RU,The 3rd Trade and Procurement session with the participation of famous the largest retail chains, a scientific and practical symposium, a series of specialized sessions, round tables, master classes and trainings with the participation of leading industry professionals. In total, about 1,500 exhibitors took part in business events.

The speakers of the business program events were reputable industry experts: Anna Lebsak-Kleimans, Irina Borodavko, Elena Regak, Svetlana Romanova, Galina Kravchenko, Konstantin Yakunin, Alexandra Kaloshina, Larisa Kamenskaya, Ksenia Leri, Natalia Vstovskaya, Maxim Chapov, Anton Alferand others.

"The organization of such events is increasingly in demand by industry participants to improve their own competencies, understand their position in the market and opportunities for further development. The business program of the exhibition was structured in such a way that the event covers the entire chain of the production process from the search and purchase of raw materials to the positioning and marketing of products to the end consumer. Each process was considered in stages, and in the context of optimal solutions to various tasks.

The next, V International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials «Intertkan-2018. Autumn" will be held from August 27 to August 30, 2018 at the Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya, in Pavilion No. 3.
