The honor of determining the winner of the eleventh prize fell to Maria Grazia Chiuri, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Kim Jones, Marc Jacobs, Jonathan Anderson, Jean-Paul Clavry, Stella McCartney, Sidney Toledano, NIGO, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Delphine Arnault. Also, for the first time, the jury will include Pharrell Williams and Phoebe Filo.

The eleventh LVMH Award for Young Fashion Designers was an unprecedented success, confirming its international reach: more than 2,500 candidates from around the world applied for the 2024 award, which is a record number of applications.
At the end of the semi-final of the award, one of the jury members, Dolphin Arnault, noted:
“This stage highlighted the diversity of creative approaches of the candidates. The semi-finalists demonstrated extensive work experience and strong commitment to the principles of sustainable development. The finalist designers will show completely different collections, ranging from completely handmade products to clothes made from recycled materials.”
In total, seven brands will participate in the LVMH Prise finals, including Aubero, Duran Lantik, Marie Adam-Leenaerdt, Niccolò Pasqualetti, Paolo Carzana, Pauline Dujancourt, Standing Ground. All of them will have to present their collections on September 10 at the Louis Vuitton Foundation.

"This year's edition features a unique distinctive design and the return of exquisite collections of women's clothing.
Many of these brands place research and high aesthetic standards at the heart of their approach, values that are also championed by the new Savoir-Faire Prize. This award highlights the importance of craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability — the three themes that underpin today's commitments to the fashion and luxury industries.
I am very grateful to all the experts who contribute every year to making the LVMH Award a benchmark for young designers. All this promises an exceptional release in 2024," added Delphine Arnault.
Recall that the LVMH award includes three awards:
— The LVMH Award for young fashion designers, dedicated to creativity, is 400,000 euros. The winner receives one year of individual mentoring from a dedicated LVMH team.
— The Karl Lagerfeld Award also celebrates the creativity of the young brand and includes a donation of 200,000 euros and annual mentoring.
— The newly created Savoir-Faire Award focuses on exceptional craftsmanship, technical expertise and innovation, as well as the sustainability of a young brand. Together with a donation of 200,000 euros, the winner will also receive an annual special mentoring program aimed at encouraging the transfer of skills in these areas.
Finally, three young graduates of the fashion school were awarded the Prize. Each winner, as well as his school, will receive 10,000 euros and join the design studio of one of the group's houses for one year.
