In the conditions of the stormy dawn of online trading in Russia, there is a noticeable decline in construction in retail. According to the forecast of Cushman & Wakefield, construction activity in the retail real estate sector in Moscow will intensify in 2019–2020, and this will happen largely thanks to the implementation of the project ADG Group to create a large-scale network of district centers, which will be presented at the REX commercial real estate exhibition.

The project of new district centers was a response to the request of residents of the metropolis, where the need for high-quality infrastructure is growing within walking distance from home. According to a study by ADG Group, up to 40% of people spend their free time within the boundaries of their own areas of residence. ADG Group predicts the commercial opportunities of the project at the level of: turnover of more than $4 000 per sq.m. m; audience – 2.5 million people living within a 15-minute walking distance from the centers. The network's turnover per year will be $1.3 billion.
