Clothes for success

October 23 in the ArenaBezgraniz Couture™ presented a collection of business clothes Dress For Success as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.

 

The social and entrepreneurial project Bezgraniz Couture™ for the fourth time presented a collection of clothes for people with disabilities at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.The collection Dress For Success was created in within the framework of cooperation with students and graduates of the Faculty of Fashion Design of the British Higher School of Design. This year, sets of clothes for the office were developed. The concept, the formation of the collection and the preparation for the show were handled by the Freshblood team.

 

 

The collection Dress For Success on the podium Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russiaa was presented by models with an active lifestyle. Among them Ksenia Bezuglova, member of the Council for Guardianship in the Social Sphere under the Government of the Russian Federation, member of the Commission for the Disabled under the President of the Russian Federation, Miss World 2013 among girls in wheelchairs. The show was attended by Evgeny Smirnov, champion of Russia in breakdancing, silver medalist of the Russian Rowing Championships, the first Russian champion in Cybathletics 2017, assistant to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for transport.

 

 

Foreign guests also came specially to the show: Jack Ayers (Jack Eyers), the first ever holder of the title of Mr. England with amputation, Stacy Paris, model of the agency Models of Diversity, London, model Angel Dixon (Angel Dixon) from Australia. Among the Russian participants of the show are employees of companies with disabilities, as well as an actor of the Theater of the Simple-Minded Vlad Sanotsky, artist and stylist Alexandra Odoevskaya, artist, model and TED­ speaker Anastasia Abroskina, artist and TED speaker Jennet Bazarova, wards of the foundations "Give life" Evgenia Suzdaltseva, as well as Rimma Ismailova and Daria Mukhanova from the foundation "Love Syndrome". Models without disabilities also took part in the show.

 

 

Dress For Success – the third educational module of the project Bezgraniz Couture™ and of the British Higher School of Design on the creation of clothing for people with disabilities, which is focused this year on the business side of life. Paralympians, models, TV presenters with disabilities took part in the project as consultants and models. The young designers of BHVD focused on a progressive approach to design, allowing everyone, regardless of external features and lifestyle, to feel confident and comfortable.
