Shoes of Russia: 48 new outlets in a year
The group of companies "Shoes of Russia", the first public retailer of the Russian fashion market, sums up the results of 2018. In the 4th quarter of 2018, 28 franchised stores were opened under the brands S-TEP (casual shoes) and Lisette (women's fashion shoes), and in total 48 new partner outlets were launched in 2018. Thus, at the end of 2018, the number of franchised stores was 161. In general, the retail network of "Shoes of Russia" now has more than 700 outlets.
Comments Anton Titov, Director of the Group of Companies "Shoes of Russia": "In July 2018, we resumed the franchise program and actively opened partner stores in the fall. Our franchisees are wholesale customers of the company, with whom we have been working for many years and to whom we have offered a new format of cooperation. The development of the franchise program allows us to cover new cities and regions in which we are not yet represented by our own retail. This year we plan to further strengthen our position in the Russian shoe market by expanding the retail network in both large and small cities.
"Shoes of Russia" is developing a retail network as part of an investment program announced in the fall of 2017. The company is increasing its presence in the regions, opening stores in settlements with a population of 50 thousand inhabitants or more. In small towns, the costs of launching new outlets are lower and there is a low level of competition, which allows the company to form an audience of regular customers in a shorter time and reach the planned sales figures.
