New Cubus opens in Vyborg

The development of the network project of shopping and entertainment complexes Cubus, implemented in the district centers of the Leningrad region, continues. The construction of a new network shopping mall is underway in Vyborg. Its opening will take place in December 2018. The exclusive broker of the network project remains the company LCM Consulting.

The new Cubus shopping mall will be located on the border of the Central and Industrial districts of Vyborg, in a Railway cul-de-sac adjacent to the main transport highway of the city - Leningradskoe Highway. The area of the land plot chosen for the construction of the complex is 1.75 hectares. According to the experts of LCM Consulting, the absence of strong competitors in the local environment area and the increased attention of federal networks to the city that has not yet been developed makes it possible to form an interesting and attractive project on this territory.

According to the concept, the shopping and entertainment complex Cubus will become a center for family recreation and daily shopping for residents of the city and Vyborg district. The total area of the building will be 25,960 sq. m., leasable - 22,095 sq. m. On three floors of the complex there will be stores of goods for the whole family, a cluster of services, as well as entertainment and catering operators, most of which will be presented in the city for the first time.

The tenants of the 1st floor of the Cubus shopping mall will include: a food hypermarket (6,157 sq. m.), a supermarket of furniture and household goods (1,031 sq. m.), a supermarket of perfumes and cosmetics (260 sq. m.), a fast-food restaurant with auto distribution (370 sq. m.) and a cash register gallery with a wide range of everyday and impulse demand goods. The second floor of the shopping mall will unite supermarkets of clothing, shoes and accessories, outerwear, as well as a supermarket of household appliances and electronics (1,542 sq. m.). On the 3rd floor of the complex there will be a supermarket of goods for sports and recreation (1,348 sq. m.), a children's supermarket (1,292 sq. m.), a gallery of shops of goods for children, a book supermarket (286 sq. m.), as well as a leisure and entertainment area, which will include the city's first multiplex cinema (1,691 sq. m.), a family entertainment center (1,184 sq. m.) and a food court.

As noted in LCM Consulting, the interest in the shopping center on the part of federal operators is due to the weak representation of network retail in Vyborg and the presence of objective prerequisites and prospects for its development, as well as the professional concept of the shopping mall and the confidence of networks as an ongoing network project. Thus, the GC "" has already confirmed its participation in the Cubus projectSportmaster», which is preparing to place stores of three brands –«Spormaster», O’stin and Funday, as well as brands Zolla and Kari, who will open their own stores in the supermarket format in the shopping mall. Earlier, agreements were reached on cooperation with the federal network of household appliances and electronics stores, one of the leaders in its segment, «Eldorado» and the cinema chain «Kinopolis», which implements a multiplex in the complex on 5 halls.

Comments Eduard Tishko, Director and Managing Partner of LCM Consulting: «Each mall of the Cubus network meets the set high quality standards. This applies to modern architectural and interior solutions that create the atmosphere of a shopping and entertainment center, strict compliance by the developer with the stated deadlines for the implementation of projects, a coherent concept of complexes and the quality of tenant-mix with the predominant presence of federal chain retail, powerful marketing support aimed at children and family audiences. All this has already been implemented and is working in the Cubus projects in Gatchina and Volkhov. The Cubus shopping mall in Vyborg will not be an exception. Therefore, we are confident that the agreements reached on the opening of stores will be backed up by relevant contracts in the near future, and already in December 2018, residents of Vyborg will be able to enjoy wide opportunities for modern recreation, a diverse retail offer and fashionable shopping within walking distance.
