As part of the optimization, the department store STOCKMANN will close on February 11, 2018 in "MEGA Teply Stan". In connection with its closure, the liquidation of goods has been announced. Until February 11, customers are promised crazy discounts.

According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of STOCKMANN JSC, Yakov Panchenko, the decision to close was made at the beginning of the year and is part of the overall strategy to optimize the company's asset portfolio.

The company is going to start online sales in the summer of 2018. At the same time, the click&collect – function will be implemented, the ability to order goods on the website and receive an order in the store. Online sales will have a positive impact on the regional development of the company.

In November 2017, the STOCKMANN department store opened in Kazan. A new store is scheduled to open in Krasnodar in February 2018.

Large-scale work on business restructuring and network development began to bear fruit: sales in the second half of 2017 increased by 34%, on a comparable basis by 24%.
