New pre-fall Bottega Veneta collection
The autumn show Mattheu Blazy for Bottega Veneta has become one of the most anticipated events of the season. The show can be described in one concise phrase: "beauty is in simplicity," and this is exactly what the creative director of the brand wanted to convey.
Mattheu Blazy drew inspiration for his collection from old Interview magazines. As a result, ideas such as a suede skirt worn over trousers or a shirt with a round neck and striped collar tucked into gray jeans with a belt were born.
"Bourgeois but informal" is how Blazy describes the spirit of the collection. He demonstrates this by wearing a plaid shirt (actually made of cotton, not leather, as before) with a leather bomber jacket and a khaki pencil skirt, or another identical nubuck shirt with a full skirt.
In the field of bags, the designer also strives for diversity, offering models that are not necessarily decorated with branded leather stripes. The red leather bandana bag is a prime example of this new trend.
Blazy masterfully combines classic elements with a fresh look, creating images that are both relevant and timeless.
