The consulting company «Store of Stores» and the agency Insight MR conducted a study of consumer behavior in the retail market. According to its results, it was possible to find out how Moscow shopping centers meet the needs of customers. The criteria were determined according to which the best shopping centers were determined, according to the respondents.

In addition, the authors of the study analyzed the gender aspect and identified the most male» (Gagarinsky, Filion, Mega Khimki, Riviera, Afimall) andthe most female»shopping malls (Golden Babylon Otradnoye, Okhotny Ryad, Golden Babylon Rostokino, Columbus, Vegas Kashirskoe Highway). 

The survey participants were Muscovites in the age range from 20 to 45 years with an average income.During the interview, respondents noted the factors that are decisive for them when choosing a shopping center, and assessed how different shopping centers correspond to them.
