Italian luxury fashion house Gucciplans to open the first mono-brand outlet in Russia. According to Kommersant, the agreement can be signed as early as next week, when the leadership of the fashion house arrives for the final of the World Cup.

Currently, Guccihas more than 20 outlets located in various countries of the world, including China. Italians' interest in the Russian market is not accidental – our country, according to the global report of Deloitte, has outpaced Europe and America in spending on luxury goods.
Gucci switched to independent retail development in Russia in 2014 after many years of cooperation with Mercury. Today, the Italian fashion house operates a network of eleven stores in Russia. The new store will be the twelfth. At the end of last year, sales of Gucci in the global market increased by 25%, to 15.48 billion euros, and comparable sales showed an increase of 44.6%.
Experts note that today luxury brands sell remnants of past collections in Russia through multi-brand networks, and Gucci may become the first seller of luxury goods to open a full-fledged outlet in Moscow.
Market participants believe that the crisis does not reach outlet buyers. Global sales in luxury discount centers grow by an average of 8-10% annually. According to Colliers International, there are 200 outlets in America, 135 in Europe, and four in Russia so far.
