Balashovsky Raincoat Fabrics Factory, and since 1993,– JSC «Balashovsky Textiles», was founded in 1968.Since reaching the planned capacity, the company has been one of the leading manufacturers of polyamide and polyester yarns in the country.

In September 2010, the property and production complex of JSC Balashovsky Textile was acquired by JSCKuibyshevAzot, as a result of which was formed LLC "Baltex", which became the legal successor of the entire range of fabrics produced.

Currently LLC "Baltex"produces synthetic and blended fabrics of the following nomenclature: lining, jacket, windproof, raincoat and backpack. The company has the ability to apply a wide range of finishes to the fabric: "Varnish", water-repellent, waterproof, oil-repellent, polyurethane, "breathable" and "non-breathing" polyurethane foam, membrane coatings. The equipment installed at the enterprise makes it possible to produce fabrics with a large selection of printed patterns, and the possibilities in the color scheme are practically unlimited. LLC "Baltex" is the only company specializing in the production of nylon fabrics, which are characterized by high strength indicators and high abrasion resistance. The unique production technology of beaver fabrics for workwear distinguishes «Baltex» from other manufacturers. The company consists of weaving and finishing industries equipped with the latest textile technology.
