Trend Bureau «Trendskwaer» with the support of JSC «Expocentre» implemented the project «Territory of design in children's clothing and shoes ». For the first time at the February CJF exhibition, a series of tours of the exhibitors' stands took place. The experience of getting acquainted with trends using illustrative examples turned out to be very successful. The stands that were included in the program of trend excursions received not only special coverage at the time of the exhibition, but also continue to attract attention, thanks to videos posted on the Internet. The Trend-guided tour project, which has been successfully launched, will be continued at the next exhibition.

The key event of the exhibition was the «CJF project. The children's catwalk", within the framework of which new collections of the most reputable manufacturers of clothing and accessories for children and teenagers were shown. For young models, this event is an excellent training of professional qualities. Buyers and representatives of stores and chains gathered at the shows to choose collections for the next season and present them in their stores.

The central event of the business program of the CJF exhibition was the XII All-Russian Trade Forum «Children's Goods Market». This is an annual meeting of suppliers of children's clothing, shoes and accessories with buyers of retail chains.

Experts assessed current trends in the development of the children's clothing, footwear and accessories market from the point of view of retail, demand and consumer behavior, determined trends in the children's fashion market and presented a forecast for 2017 and 2018, as well as demonstrated successful trading strategies on the example of market leaders.

More than 50% of the structure of children's retail is occupied by retail chains, and their share is only growing. Suppliers that do not work with networks are rapidly losing market positions. The forum participants received practical advice on working with networks. How is it profitable to work with retail? What does the supplier need to know about the network, and where to get the information to prepare a win-win commercial offer?

The answers to these questions prepared the participants for the final part of the forum – negotiations at the Network Procurement Center. During the negotiations, manufacturers had a unique opportunity to present the most convincing arguments in favor of their goods to the persons directly making the purchasing decision. In total, about 40 buyers from 20 networks and 50 suppliers took part in the event. In two and a half hours, 750 negotiations were held.
