The group of companies Furla closed the next financial year with an exceptional growth in turnover and EBITDA.The company's cash turnover in 2017 amounted to 499 million euros, an increase of 20%. The EBITDA of the Furla group increased by 34.1% compared to 2016.
Individual sales in the regions of the world, which also reached the upper range, are comparable with the overall success of the company. A large increase in sales was observed in all markets around the world. In particular, in the Asia-Pacific region, the increase in sales amounted to 50% of the 2016 figures, revenue has reached24% of the total turnover Furla. At the same time, in Japan sales increased by 15.4% and amounted to 23% of the company's total turnover. In the EBVA region, turnover also increased by 12.9% and today accounts for 46% of the total turnover.

The success of the Italian company was the result of deliberate strategic steps, starting with large investments in marketing and ending with special projects that fully cover all channels of interaction with customers, including social networks, online stores and boutiques. In addition, Furla Group has carefully studied the needs of customers around the world in order to fully meet their expectations, taking into account the difference in mentalities and requirements of the international market.Another important factor in the company's growth was the expansion of the distribution network and the tightening of control over the sale of goods by Furla. Also in 2017, Furla fully took over development in key markets such as Australia and Portugal.
In the first quarter of 2018, Furla Group also plans to continue expanding the network. The opening of new boutiques is planned in the region of the region EBVA, in particular in Germany, Czech Republic, Russia, as well as in United States of America. Today, the brand Furla is present in approximately 100 countries and has in its network 467 boutiques, of which 23 were opened in 2017. 253 stores are owned directly by the brand, 177 operate on franchise terms,37 duty-free shops. Retail sales accounted for 70% of all operations in 2017.
Also Furla announces the acquisition of the factory EffeunoSrl. The production of Effeuno is characterized by high technology, in addition, the joint work with Furla has been going on for more than one year. The factory is located near Florence in the town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. The factory area has more than 5,000 square meters, and thanks to more than a hundred skilled workers, the factory produces about 2 million units of products per year.
