Free Age: debut in Dusseldorf

This year, the premium knitwear brand from St. Petersburg Free Age independently debuted at the exhibition Gallery Dusseldorf. It is noteworthy that the brand turned out to be the only Russian representative in the sector of international premium brands.


Participation in one of the key European exhibitions turned out to be more than successful. The brand received its first orders from European showrooms and a partnership offer from a European agency. The Russian brand of high-quality knitwear Free Age was created in 2016 and presented its debut collection in January 2017. The brand addresses its products to a thinking progressive audience that chooses not a trendy image, but meaningful content. The professionalism and experience of an international team from Russia and Japan, the modern technological basis of its own production, as well as the support of leading creative consultants of the global fashion industry have allowed Free Age to create a competitive product that is not inferior to the best world analogues for the past three seasons.


The aesthetic basis of knitted collections is at the junction of complex intellectual fashion and ascetic minimalism, where natural materials acquire purity of lines and smooth dynamics, without loading the image with excessive decor. Cooperating with leading yarn manufacturers from Italy, Mongolia and China, the brand Free Age creates collections exclusively from selected materials of high quality: merino wool, long-fiber cotton, cashmere, viscose, yak, yangora and alpaca wool, as well as silk-containing threads.



The current spring-summer 2018 capsule, along with the new autumn-winter 2018/19 collection, is presented this season at once on two leading platforms of the Eastern European fashion industry - exhibitions The Gallery (Dusseldorf) and CPM (Moscow). Among the priorities of the Free Age team – regional expansion in Russia and entry into the European market through active cooperation with multi-brand platforms of the segments «medium », «medium plus » and «premium». Another notable direction of brand development is a new visual concept created jointly with the New York agency Sputnik Supervision, based on the principles of unity of philosophy and image broadcasting of collections, clarity and graphic images and relevance in reflecting global trends.
