March 21 in the program of the "Russian Textile and Light Industry Week-2019" and the exhibition "INTERTKAN-2019.Spring» will host a round table «Prospects for the development of fashion design in the regions of the Russian Federation».

The discussion will address issues important for the development of regional fashion brands:

• the state of fashion retail in the regions;
• development of marketing capabilities of regional designers;
• formation of the legislative base for supporting regional designers in the subjects of the Russian Federation on the examples of the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg;
• problems of purchasing fabrics and accessories in the regions of the Russian Federation;
• training of designers in the regions in the absence of specialized higher educational institutions;
• working with buyers;
• online buying – new opportunities for export;
• promotion of Russian designers abroad.

Designers are invited to participate in the event: Igor Gulyaev. Olga Grinyuk, Alisa Tolkacheva, Igor York, Tatiana Sulimina, Nadezhda Tsvetkova, Elena Agafontseva, Irina Malova, Ekaterina Vasilyeva, Ksenia Demyanenko, Daria Rastunina, Sussana Makerova, Evgenia Shchapina, Julia Emerson, Svetlana Zubkova, Alexandra Shishkina, Dmitry Kustikov, Lyubov Spirina, Anna Pavlova and shoe designer Daria Detkina. 

Together with them, representatives of the professional community and experts will discuss the current situation in the industry: Anna Lebsak-Kleymans, Head of Fashion Consulting Group, Evgeny Yashchuk, Senior Vice President of the Association of Haute Couture and Pret-a-Port, Roman Efremov, President of the Association of Fashion Weeks"Elena Bugranova, President of the Union of Russian Buyers, Sergey Ponomarev, representative of Sebo inc, Valery Belgorodsky, Rector of the Russian State University named after Kosygina, Evgeny Rumyantsev, Rector of Ivanovo Polytechnic University and Andrey Safinin, Director of the Institute of Design and Advertising of the International Academy of Business and Management.

The round table will be held on March 21, in the Blue Hall (Pavilion No. 2 of the Expocentre), starting at 13:00.
