Exams and the World Wide Web
With a light hand Vladislav Ivanov, representing the project "Holofiber" (group of companies "Thermopol"), recent final exams at the Department of Costume Design and Fashion "The Institute of Business and Design (B&D) », headed by the famous Russian fashion designer, Professor Sergey Sysoev, with the support of the project «Holofiber » became an occasion for communication in the social network of the professional community. Vladislav, who was present at the event, photographed the qualifying works of Natalia Chernyshova, Alla Lobanova and Maria Priven that he liked and posted them on the professional community page.A lot of responses and comments, repostings and fierce controversy of professionals caused both an informal understanding of clothes formed under the influence of Russian culture, and the appearance of clothes using innovative materials, and clothes created in the direction of wearable technology («wearable technologies»).
The range of responses demonstrated the manner of communication familiar to Internet conferences, from raptures to mysterious dots, assessments on the verge of a foul and dizzying compliments.
"Social networks are incredibly active today and react almost instantly to something new, fresh, non-standard. Young designers, using the main advantages of non-woven and other modern materials in the creation of their collections, were able to hook industry experts with novelty, stirred up even the most experienced specialists and were able to force them to make personal and professional assessments. A design that makes you think to accept or not to accept, constantly mentally return to the ideas embedded in the products, compare and look for analogies in world culture or roots in recognized masterpieces of art, isn't this the success of so vividly beginning couturiers?»
