Digital at the Russian Retail Week

The topic of digital transformation of retailwill be revealed at the largest industry forum of business and government «Russian Retail Week», which will be held from June 6 to 10 at the World Trade Center. Of the more than 80 sections and conferences scheduled during the three days of the forum's business program, many are devoted to the best practices of digitalization, IT innovations and the introduction of new digital and mobile tools into the work of Russian and international retail chains.

 

 

On the first day of the forum,June 6, the main plenary session "Digital transformation of retail" will take place. The main speakers and experts will be: Denis ManturovMinister of Industry and Trade of Russia; Jan Dunning– General Director of the network «Lenta»Evgeny Movchan– General Director of STD «Petrovich»David Moore– Director of International Retail Development SPAR International, as well as major retailers, representatives of industry associations and federal and regional authorities. On the same day, an expert discussion will be held "State Infrastructure projects: Product traceability", dedicated to the implementation of state information systems in retail trade, such as USAIS, "Mercury", online fiscalization, which It will gather top managers of retail chains and manufacturers of goods, independent experts and heads of government authorities Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Ministry of Economic Development, Rosselkhoznadzor, Federal Tax Service, Rosalkogolregulirovaniya and others. There will also be sections on the use of geo-analytics tools for research of store locations and a RBC conference on the topic of digital transformation of fashion retail.

 

On June 7,, a whole series of events dedicated to the digitalization of retail and new digital technologies, tools and startups in retail will be held.In particular, the discussion Best Practice Retail will combine four sections: Smart solutions for modern retail, ;Retail chains' own solutions as best retail practices, Technologies: evolution VS revolution and Range of best solutions: infrastructure, engagement,digital businessraquo;. The program of the one-day session «IT in modern retail » will feature more than 40 experts. In the new event format – Retail Startup Challenge Startups in retail will be presented, where experts will discuss 17 innovative technological solutions for retail.

 

On the final day of the business agenda of the forum, June 8, will host many events dedicated to digital transformation in retail and omnichannel. For example, participants of the full-day program "Mobile technologies in retail" will be able to learn everything about mobile technologies as a tool for improving customer experience, and they will talk about drivers and constraints in the development of online commerce at the conference "Market trendse-commerce", in which top managers and heads of the largest retail chains and marketplaces, as well as independent experts will take part as speakers: Enrique Fernandez– Chief Executive Officer «M.Video»Maxim Grishakov– CEO «Yandex.Market»; Armen Manukyan– senior expert on electronic commerce of the Russian Export Center and others  more than 20 experts in total.

 

The Marketing Day program includes two events dedicated to digital marketing and omnichannel strategies of retail chains: «Retail Marketing: Shopper Marketing, Customer experience, Innovations. How to attract and retain a customer» and «Omnichannel», as well as forum «Supply Chain in retail»,the theme of which is new logistics technologies and best practices of supply chain participants.
