The company Dassault Systèmes has announced the conclusion of a final agreement to acquire the company IQMS, a leading developer of ERP systems, for 425 million US dollars. The acquisition of the Californian company IQMS will allow Dassault Systèmes to expand the capabilities of its platform 3DEXPERIENCE for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises seeking to digitally transform their business processes.

The software IQMS (EnterpriseIQ and WebIQ) is a comprehensive solution for the management of design, production and business processes. By integrating IQMS solutions into the cloud version of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, Dassault Systèmes will be able to offer its customers an affordable process management system that will help them improve collaboration, increase production efficiency and flexibility of their business for successful customer service.

In addition, manufacturers will be able to take advantage of new business opportunities and offer their production know-how and services to an extensive community of designers and engineers through the digital commercial platform Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE Marketplace.

The purchase amount IQMS will be paid in cash. The transaction will be completed after all the established conditions are met, including after receiving approval from the US antitrust authorities. The transaction is expected to be completed in early 2019.
