Coccinelle Confectionery Store
December 7 in Milan, the center of world shopping, atCorso Vittorio Emanuele, 15 the long-awaited flagship boutique of the brand Coccinelle, decorated in the spirit of an accessory confectionery, has opened. The event is timed to the 40th anniversary of the brand, which is celebrated this year.
Accessory confectionery is a dream Eleanor Puya and Vincent Stuvenaker, creative directors of Coccinelle. It became a reality thanks to the Italian designer and architect Roberto Bacchocchi, who created a space in which the senses are sharpened.
The brand's new concept is a cozy living room. This is a trendy gourmet place with round tables, like in a modern bistro, upholstered chairs and poufs, similar to puff pastry. The tempting color scheme of the boutique resembles a box of pasta: powdery pink, delicate blue, pastel green. Through a large window with rounded edges, you can observe the life of the accessory confectionery Coccinelle.
On the ground floor in a space of 60 sq. m. next to the columns covered with pink plexiglass, there is a cash desk with rounded corners. But the most basic is located on the ground floor, which has an area of 120 sq. m. Here, under a light "sky" of white origami, surrounded by eco-fur platforms in asymmetric niches, a new collection of bags and accessories, as well as iconic brand models are presented.
"When I first tried to imagine a new boutique Coccinelle, I imagined a place where women would look around with amazement and delight, just like in a candy store. Roberto Bacocchi understood my plan and made it a reality. The result of our work has become an unusual space involving the everyday reality of the female world. Colors and materials, as well as delicate contrasts, pastel tones and metallized details, faux fur and steel accurately state the values of Coccinelle.
Eleanor Puya, Creative Director of Coccinelle
The opening of the flagship store in Milan marks the beginning of an important stage in the internationalization of the brand. New discoveries in strategic cities of the world will not keep you waiting. Architect Roberto Baciocchi managed to convey the values of the brand in the physical space and realize the goals of our new strategy. This flagship, as well as the fact that with its opening we have reached the mark of 160 stores worldwide, has become a gift for the 40th anniversary of the brand.Fabrizio Stroppa, CEO of Coccinelle
