As of November 19, 2018, according to the results of the inspection of Rospotrebnadzor, more than 9,400 fur products without labeling and more than 10,400 products with violation of labeling requirements were detected on the domestic market.

In total, Rospotrebnadzor identified fur coats with violations of the requirements for a total amount of more than 900 million rubles. More than a thousand protocols on an administrative offense, 954 protocols on the arrest of goods were drawn up.

"Currently, based on the results of the consideration of 1,005 administrative cases, the courts have decided to bring the perpetrators to administrative responsibility in the form of administrative fines, the total amount of which amounted to more than 4 million rubles," representatives of the department said.
