The butterfly Ball in the Blumarine Spring-summer 2024 collection

Blumarine presented his collection spring-summer 2024, plunging viewers into the world of airy silhouettes, floral prints and playful femininity.

Collection created by the creative director Nicola Brognano, became his last work for the brand, but left an indelible mark, demonstrating the designer's sophisticated view of modern fashion.

The show, which was accompanied by a gentle melody, was filled with images resembling fluttering butterflies. Lightweight fabrics such as chiffon and silk flowed down the catwalk, creating airy silhouettes decorated with floral prints, lace and embroidery. Delicate pastel shades of lavender, beige, lemon and white dominated the collection, creating an atmosphere of romance and dreaminess. Accents were placed with the help of gold details: massive buckles, large earrings and even whole dresses, as if completely woven from shining threads.

The collection traced the motives of the noughties: short tops, mini dresses and low-waisted capri pants. Nostalgic notes were balanced by modern elements: asymmetrical cutouts, drapery and a sophisticated cut.

The show was completed with several luxurious evening dresses made of flowing fabrics with deep cleavages, slits and trains. Several models paraded with huge wings on their backs, embodying the image of an angel. Completely transparent dresses decorated with crystals also became fascinating.

The collection was named: "Blumarine: Butterfly Ball", was dedicated to the fragile beauty of butterflies, their weightless fluttering and metamorphoses. The clothing line reflected these themes in flowing silhouettes, delicate fabrics and airy draperies.
