On April 25–April 28, the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design hosted the International Competition of Young Designers «Admiralty Needle». The heads of the exhibition CPM spoke to the contestants and chose the best for the presentation in the next season of the project.

The project «Admiralty needle » annually involves contestants from all regions of Russia and 20 countries of the world, who over the years of the competition have demonstrated to the professional jury, press and guests more than 8,000 collections of clothing, shoes and accessories. The jury is traditionally attended by representatives of leading European and Asian fashion industry schools, famous designers and entrepreneurs. This year they were joined by the team of organizers of the exhibition CPM.

CPM gives the winners of the competition the opportunity to take part in the exhibition and present their collections to buyers and the press on a par with the leading European companies of the fashion industry. In addition, on April 26, as part of the official program of the XXIV season of the Admiralty Needle, a business meeting was held at which the international director of CPM Christian Kash, the Russian director of CPM Nikolai Yartsev, and the curator of design programs CPM Galina Istomina told about the features of exhibition projects, as well as the latest news CPM related to the 30th anniversary season, held in February in Moscow. In particular, the organizers of the exhibition shared the news of the key sections providing support to young designers and small brands, –CPM Designerpool, Handmade, StartUp Russia and My Country.

The winners of the XXIV season of the Admiralty Needle competition were the designers Daria Pashkova (prize – free participation with their own stand at the exhibition CPM), and Elena Salikhova (prize – free booth at the exhibition Gallery in Dusseldorf, July 21–23, 2018).

The next exhibition CPM –Collection Première Moscow will be held from 4 to 7 September 2018 on the territory of the central exhibition complex «Expocentre» in Moscow. Russian and international fashion manufacturers will demonstrate their collections of the spring-summer 2019 season.
