Zara to open clothing production in Russia
Spanish retailer Zara, owned by Inditex Group, has signed a contract for the production of clothing in Russia, reports TASS.
"They have already signed two contracts: for Zara Home and for the production of clothing", - said the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Viktor Yevtukhov. The conclusion of a contract for the production of goods under the Zara Home brand in Russia was reported last year.

Yevtukhov also noted that the company plans for 2017 to increase the number of products manufactured in Russia. "In 2017, they plan to sell about a million products manufactured in our country," he explained.
At the same time, Zara plans to expand the pool of Russian partners and test Russian enterprises for this purpose. "In the near future, specialists will come from the head office, from Spain, and will test our enterprises. We have provided a list, they will select what they need, the volume of contacts will increase," the deputy minister explained.
