Today, the Russian technical textile industry has rushed upward in its development. And this is reflected in a significant increase in project financing and the emergence of large-scale investors, both foreign and Russian. Technical textiles and equipment for its production remain the main factor in the development of the Russian textile and light industry. In 2017, new factories were opened, state support was increased both at the regional and federal levels, new materials were improved and developed. According to Rosstat, for ten months of 2017, the production of synthetic yarns in textile production increased by 12.4%, fabrics by 11.1%, of which synthetic fibers and yarns– on 25.9%, nonwovens –on 3.5%. In addition, the production of PVC-coated fabrics increased by 19.6%. In 2017, despite the extraordinary nature of the exhibition, 67 companies from 10 countries took part in the work of Techtextil Russia, including from the Republic of Belarus, Belgium, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, China and, of course, Russia, which indicates the popularity of the exhibition and her professional recognition. In 2018, the national pavilions of Germany, Italy, the United European Pavilion, the national exposition of China and others will be presented as part of the exhibition.
