On the eve of the new season, let's remember what the autumn exhibition was remembered for, which took place at the end of August 2017 in Moscow, at the Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya. The exhibition was first organized in the autumn period and since this year has entered a permanent semi-annual cycle. The autumn exhibition "INTERTANK" grew by 15% compared to the spring exhibition held from February 20 to 22, 2017. More than 100 companies – manufacturers and suppliers of fabrics, knitted fabrics, lace, yarn, accessories from 15 countries of the world demonstrated their products.The autumn exhibition was attended by more than 6.5 thousand industry professionals.

The exposition of the exhibition «INTERWOVEN fabric» was presented by leading Russian companies: «Vologda Textile Mill», «Verona», «Red Weavers», «KOTMARKOT», «ORETEX fur», «Mirtex», «PAN fabric», «Sverdlovsk Worsted Mill», Union of Textile Companies, «Thermopol», KHBC «Shuisky calico», «EXUVI» and others.

Among the international participants were companies from Italy, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Latvia, Lithuania, India, Turkey: Miroglio, MICHELANGELO, Dutel, ACCENTI, BACUS, OZEL TEKSTIL, RESTYLE SIA, SERGITEKS, Textus and others.

Opening the exhibition «INTERTKAN 2017. Autumn, State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Viktor Yevtukhov, stressed that the exhibition has established itself as an authoritative international platform for demonstrating trends in the development of the light industry, familiarization with innovative products and other novelties of the industry.

This is evidenced by a very large number of enterprises that presented their expositions at the exhibition, which, in turn, indicates an increasingly stable trend of production growth in a number of light industry sub-sectors. This is due both to various forms of state support for the industry, and to the successful implementation of business projects.

For the first time in Russia in the framework of the III International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials "INTERTKAN 2017. Autumn»the Textile Expert Forum was organized  zone, in which each of the companies had the opportunity to show the best samples from their new collection. Textile Expert Forumis a concentrate of trends, main directions and key topics necessary for the creation and development of clothing collections.

The result of the forum was The award "INTERTANK", formed by the choice of a professional jury, which noted the four best samples. In its selection, the jury took into account the qualities of the fabric that consumers are interested in this season: the originality of decoration, decoration, finishing, innovations in technology, as well as fabrics with unusual tactile qualities and the ability of the fabric to convey and evoke emotions. The winners of the Award were the companies «Verona» (Russia), «Mirtex» (Russia),RESTYLE (Latvia) andBennett Silks (Great Britain).

During the exhibition, visitors were offered a rich business program: a plenary session, a series of profile sessions, round tables, master classes and trainings with the participation of leading industry professionals. In total, about 1,000 exhibitors took part in business events. The speakers of the business program events were industry experts and representatives of the business community, authorities, well-known analysts and representatives of industry business: Anna Lebsak-Kleimans, Inga Mikaelyan, Irina Borodavko, Elena Regak, Svetlana Romanova, Maria Kulikova and others.

On August 30, a trade and procurement session was held with the participation of well-known major retail chains: Decathlon, Glance, SELA, Finn Flare, O'stin, «Baon», Forward, «Modis», «IKEA», the House of Victoria Andrianova, «METRO», as well as 50 Russian manufacturers of various types of light industry products. According to the unanimous opinion of retail representatives, Russian producers have a great potential to meet the demand of processors and ordinary consumers for a wide range of competitive products in the industry.

The next, IV International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials «INTERTKAN 2018. Spring» will be held from March 20 to March 23, 2018 in Moscow, at the Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya, pav. No.3, within the framework of the Russian Textile and Light Industry Week 2018..
