The production of chemical fibers has increased in Russia
According to Soyuzlegprom, in Russia in the 1st quarter of 2017, the production of chemical fibers amounted to 43,513 tons. This amounted to 102.8% compared to the same period in 2016. Of the total amount of chemical fiber, synthetic – 39,050 tons (102.7% compared to the same period last year) and artificial fibers 4,463 tons (103.6%).
As for the interregional structure of this industry, the production of chemical fibers in the Central Federal District amounted to 22,819 tons (103.8%). Of these, synthetic and artificial fibers, respectively, 18,571 tons (103.5%) and 4,248 tons (105.1%). At the same time, the entire volume of artificial fiber production in the Central Federal District and almost all of the Russian Federation as a whole was provided by Moscow region– 4,248 tons (105.1%).
Indicators for other federal districts are significantly inferior to Central Federal District. The production of chemical fibers by NWFD amounted to 6,452 tons (99%), SFD 3,736 tons (89.5%), NCFD – 1,444 tons (124.9%), PrivFO – 5,582 tons (95.5%), Uralfo – 2,953 tons (130.8%), SibFO – only 527 tons (130.3%).
For example, in In the Vladimir region the production of synthetic fibers amounted to10,066 tons(110.4%), in Kursk – 4,069 tons (89.1%), in the Komi Republic 6,361 tons (99.2%), in the Rostov region – 3,222 tons (80.8%). In Karachay-Cherkessia 1,444 tons (124.9%), in the regions Ulyanovsk 1,669 tons (102.2%), Chelyabinsk – 2,953 tons (130.8%), Samara –1,874 tons (84.3%), Saratov 1,153 tons (94.1%).
