You can now have lunch at H&M

Retail stores are increasingly thinking about how to attract customers who increasingly prefer online shopping. At the same time, in order to compete with the leisure and entertainment sector, it is necessary to offer customers not only goods, but also new experiences. In order to stay relevant to the time in the ever-changing world of retail, the Swedish company H&M has opened the first cafe in its own store located in the British shopping center Westfield London.

This cafe H&M– is the first in the UK, but already the fourth in the world (the first was opened in Stockholm last year).

Cafe Pleat is located on the first floor of the store, its area is 2,400 sq. ft. (more than 730 sq. m). The interior is decorated with emerald velvet sofas, and due to the large number of living plants, the room looks like a real green oasis. All this not only provides a cozy atmosphere, but also creates a decent background for photos in Instagram.

Now customers can relax while shopping and enjoy delicious and healthy food. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch and desserts throughout the store's opening hours. The menu is focused on "healthy food", the dishes are mainly prepared from local organic products. Most of the packaging is biodegradable and suitable for composting.

Comments Ulrika Leverenz, Managing Director of Pleat: "We think of our philosophy as a healthy approach to food. Some days all you need is vitamin salad and coconut water, and sometimes a piece of chocolate cake and cappuccino is enough.

Prices start from 2 pounds for organic coffee «americano». Cold-pressed organic juice will cost 2.5 pounds, and you will have to pay as much as 4.5 pounds for an organic salad. What can I say, health is not cheap.
