"I've had the privilege of being a member of the Council of Fashion Designers America for many years and understand what the CFDA does for its members and the industry as a whole. I have lived and worked in many fashion capitals of the world. And now I look forward to working with the Board of Directors to promote American fashion worldwide, as well as the CFDA and the designers who are members of the association. As chairman, I will continue the work of my predecessor. Over 13 years of leadership, Diana has incredibly developed our organization. Her contribution to CFDA and to American fashion is immeasurable. We all owe her a lot."
