In 2018, customs authorities identified 16.2 million units of counterfeit products, which is 6.1 million units higher than in 2017.

In total, over the past year, 1,255 cases were opened on administrative offenses in the field of intellectual property (in 2017, 1,072 cases). The amount of the prevented damage to the copyright holders amounted to 6.8 billion rubles. (in 2017, 4.5 billion rubles.).

The subjects of offenses were most often: labels (tags), food packages, auto parts, biologically active additives, medical products, packaging materials, alcoholic beverages, fishing line, shaving machines, perfumes and light industry goods.

The Customs Register of Intellectual Property Objects was replenished with 299 new objects and at the end of the year numbered 4,916 units.
