From July 13 to 16, 2017, the XII Russian Fashion Festival "Ples on the Volga" will be held in the city of Ples, Ivanovo region. Linen palette».

The Ples Fashion Festival is the only summer fashion festival in our country, which attracts more than a thousand participants from cities of Russia, near and far abroad.The Linen palette has been held since 2006 and is an all-Russian platform for the demonstration of fashionable linen clothing, including elements of folk crafts, creative developments of linen fabric, shoes, accessories. More than five thousand tourists, spectators, guests, fashion analysts, and journalists gather here every year. This is the most significant event tourism project in the region.

President of the festival – People's Artist of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Zaitsev. The event is supported by the National Academy of Fashion Industry (NAIM).

This year the theme of the festival is "National style in a modern costume". When evaluating the collections, the jury will take into account the compliance of the competition works with modern fashion trends and the use of local traditional decoration techniques and forms of folk costume. Among other things, authentic sets of folk costume will be used.

The competitive show of children's collections will include the nominations "My Summer Dress", "Ethnic" and "ECO-style".

A special screening of Vyacheslav Zaitsev will be a gift for everyone. For the 35th anniversary of his Fashion House, the maestro has prepared a special collection called "Art. Creation. Spirituality». In addition to fashion shows, the festival includes a seminar "Interpretation of traditions in modern costume".
