Following the recent negotiations, the Russian and Italian sides came to the idea of launching a joint brand "Made with Italy".

Elena Panina, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, said that on the eve of the visit of Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte to Russia, a meeting of the Russian-Italian Committee of Entrepreneurs, initiated by the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. As you know, Russia has been importing clothes, shoes, textiles from Italy in large quantities for many years and actively cooperates with Italian investors. Ms. Panina said that within the framework of negotiations with Prime Minister Conte, it is planned to discuss, among other things, the creation of new joint ventures, including enterprises in the field of light industry, where Italy has long held a leading position in the world.

Brand Made in Italyis known all over the world, and now an offer has been received from the Italian side to create a new brand Made with Italy. It is assumed that products will be released under this brand, which will be sold not only in Russia, but also in other countries.

The trend itself is Made with Italy already has a certain history. For the first time such an idea arose back in 2016, during the work of the Italian Ambassador to Russia Cesare Maria Ragaglini. Mentions of it are found in a variety of industries and at the highest level. Thus, the director of the Moscow representative office of the ICHE Agency, Pier Paolo Celeste, has repeatedly stated the need to localize production in Russia using Italian technologies and standards in the light of the sanctions imposed earlier on restrictions on the import of imported products.
