On March 24, 2019 Oleg Vyacheslavovich Kashcheev turned 55 years old.For many years of fruitful work, Oleg Vyacheslavovich has been awarded a number of departmental awards, including the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, has the title of Honorary Worker of the Textile and Light Industry.Winner of the prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology.Member of the editorial board of the journal "Izvestiya vuzov"Textile Industry Technologies".

O.V. Kashcheev is the author of more than 60 scientific papers, of which 12 are included in International Scientific Citation databases, as well as co-author in 2 monographs and 3 patents.From 2000 to 2003, he acted as an Adviser to the President on the silk and heavy technical fabrics industry, since 2005 he headed the FSUE "Production and Commercial Center", JSC "Production and Scientific Center", in2008 appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Forestry and Light Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Since March 2013, he has been working as an adviser to the Rector's office, and since February 2016, he has been Vice-rector for Research at the Kosygin Russian State University, a leading educational institution that trains highly qualified personnel for the domestic light and textile industry.
