New Wrangler Concept Store
At the end of October, the company presented its new concept store at the Metropolis shopping center. The iconic denim brand has radically revised the approach to the organization and design of the retail space. The stores of the new format are distinguished by a modern and more "light" interior: its main elements are concrete, gypsum-soaked canvas, textured plaster and wood of natural shades. Another feature of the new design is the creation of a certain atmosphere due to interesting elements: for example, door handles are shaped like buttons. Finishing with posters advertising Wrangler of previous years looks very appropriate: the brand is about to celebrate its 70th anniversary.
The store was inaugurated by the president of the Wrangler EMEA2 division, Rino Castiglione. He explained why Russia was chosen for the debut of the new concept store format: "Our brand has been widely known on the Russian market for three decades, and we hope that Russia's role in the future success of Wrangler will only grow. In the last two years, Russia has been one of our most successful sales regions. In view of the growing popularity of the brand, as evidenced by the increase in sales in Russia in the last few years, Wrangler plans to open at least 50 more new stores by 2020. This puts Russia on a par with the most successful for the company markets – Italy, Germany, Poland and the UK.
